Welcome to Trenches to Triumph Kids Camp: Rome – Paul and the Underground Church!

Get ready to travel back nearly 2,000 years to the bustling city of Rome!
During this unforgettable week, children will step into the world of the early church and experience what life was like during the time of the Apostle Paul. As members of their own Roman family group, campers will journey through an interactive marketplace, visit Roman shops, play exciting games, create hands-on crafts, sample foods inspired by ancient Rome, and discover how the first Christians lived out their faith in a world that often opposed them.
Every day brings a new adventure as children learn about God’s incredible love through Bible stories, worship, teamwork, and engaging activities designed to bring Scripture to life.
What Will My Child Experience?
Roman Family Groups
Campers will be placed into age-appropriate Family Groups led by trained volunteers. Throughout the week, they’ll build friendships, participate in activities together, and experience camp as part of their Roman family.
The Marketplace
Children will explore a lively Roman marketplace filled with interactive shops where they can:
- Learn the art of ancient scribes
- Try on Roman clothing and togas
- Visit the food market and sample Roman-inspired foods
- Meet animals similar to those found in ancient Rome
- Create hands-on projects and keepsakes
- Learn what everyday life was like during the time of Paul
Bible Adventures
Each day campers will discover powerful truths from God’s Word as they follow the story of Paul and the Underground Church. They’ll learn about courage, faith, God’s love, and what it means to follow Jesus no matter what challenges we face.
Games & Activities
Kids can expect plenty of fun through team games, challenges, movement activities, and opportunities to work together while building confidence and friendships.
Music & Worship
Campers will sing, move, laugh, and celebrate together as they learn songs that reinforce the daily Bible lessons.
