Our Missions Project for VBS will be an after-school Good News Club®.
Good News Clubs are weekly Bible clubs that are held after school hours in the public schools. Children receive permission from parents and then in club they hear the Word of God. Club time includes a Bible Lesson, songs, a memory verse, and sometimes a missionary story. This is a great way for a church to reach out to the community around them.
They are sponsored by Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), an international organization in existence for over 67 years in more than 150 countries. Children world-wide are enrolled in Good News Club programs. Hope Church is a home church to several CEF missionaries.
Our offering will go to a club in the local school district that is sponsored by Hope Church.
