Releasing Children at the End of the Day

To ensure the safety of your child, we are requesting that you supply us with a 'secret password' with your registration. You can use the same password for each child you register. In order for us to release your child to you at the end of the day, you will need to say your password to your child's crew leader. It’s our way of ensuring that children have been safely picked up by a parent or guardian.

Please use a password that you will remember but that is not easily guessed by others, including your children. Ideas for good passwords include names of your childhood pets, maiden names, favourite vacation spots, childhood phone numbers or nicknames, etc. Easily guessed passwords include things such as the name or nickname of your child, their birth dates, current phone numbers or addresses, favourite colours, etc - Don't use these!

Please do not give your password to anyone who does not have your permission to pick up your child. Also, please do not give your child the password (to keep them from sharing it with people who they may know, but may not have your permission to take your child). Only those who will be picking up your child should know the password.

KEEP YOUR PASSWORD A SECRET!

Photography Policy

Please be aware that we will be taking pictures throughout each day. We will be using the pictures we take in the following ways.

1. We take a picture of each Camp Crew with their crew leaders. We send home a crew picture with each child with a personal message from their crew leader as a keepsake.

2. We compile the week’s-worth of pictures into a PowerPoint presentation to show during our Camp Celebration Sunday morning Worship Service. The children look forward to seeing this presentation each year - looking for themselves and friends. We do try to take pictures of each child to include in the presentation!

3. Our Photography Policy does limit the use of these pictures to be used only for church purposes. We will not be posting them on ANY social media sites or using any names of the children in the presentations. If a photo of your child is chosen to be used on our website in any way, we will secure your written permission before we use your child's picture, but again, we would not use your child's name.

If you do not wish for us to take any pictures of your child, please indicate your decision on your child's registration form in the appropriate box.
