We need you on our team!
If you are interested in volunteering for VBS, please complete the volunteer registration on this website. You may indicate which volunteer job(s) you are interested in and we will let you know where you are assigned.
We follow Safe Sanctuary procedures and will require all volunteers 18 and older to complete a Consent for Background check. Click here to download the form. Please complete and bring to the church office or email to jrobertson@spanishfortumc.org.
Youth (completed 6th grade and up) may volunteer as station assistants/helpers or crew assistants. Please note that youth must be at least five grade levels ahead of any group they are helping with.
We do have nursery available for younger children of volunteers during VBS. Please register your nursery-age child as a VBS participant if you have signed up to volunteer the week of VBS. Be sure to indicate the dates in which your nursery child will be attending in the nursery so that we make plans to accommodate as needed.
We will have a MANDATORY meeting for all adult and youth volunteers on Sunday, June 13th at 2p.m. in the sanctuary located on our Main Campus. It is crucial that you attend this meeting so that we can review all of our safe sanctuary and VBS policies for the week. There are many adjustments and changes to Vacation Bible School this year and we need everyone to be knowledgeable of those prior to the children arriving for the week. Please make plans to attend. Please note that we will not have nursery or child care available for this meeting, so please plan accordingly.
